RAY LOMBARDI

Ray Lombardi’s fascination with multimedia began at a the age of 8 when he received a 3.5 inch reel-to-reel tape recorder for Christmas. Ray studied piano and brass instruments throughout elementary and high school. He began writing and performing music in his high school rock band. After high school, Ray went on to study music at what was then Trenton State College.

After two years at Trenton State College, Ray moved onto Northeastern Bible College where graduated with a degree in music composition in hopes to become a worship pastor. Ray married during his senior year of college and immediately took a full time worship pastor position in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Ray then moved onto a teaching position at a Christian school in Clinton, NJ. At the young age of 27, Ray was selected to serve as the headmaster of the school and his career took a shift from music and teaching to administration.  Throughout his time as an administrator, Ray continued to pursue and use his musical skills by writing children’s musicals. Ray has written over 20 musicals for children which have been performed all around world, and have been translated into a variety of languages.

In 2000, Ray returned to music and worship full time that Ray was away, worship had changed into a multimedia experience, including music, drama, dance, and video. Ray integrated video skits, backgrounds, and presentations into the worship environment, and as a result began a worship oriented video production company. Over 10 years, Ray created hundreds of video products that are used in churches both nationally and internationally around the world.

In April of 2010 Ray decided once again to change his career course. Ray became a full time videographer. Today, Lorray Design Studio and today operates as a boutique Philadelphia video production company creating a wide variety of products for both individuals and corporations. Ray’s experience enabled him to get a quick start in the  Philadelphia videography business.
